The service

Camarasaurio converts speech in audio files into text. It offers:

• Private mode: transcription runs entirely in your browser, free, unlimited, with no uploads.
• Turbo mode (experimental): transcription runs on our community GPU for speed. Free while in v0.1, best-effort, with a size limit (50 MB / 30 minutes) and a first-in-first-out queue (one job at a time).

Your responsibilities

• You must have the right to transcribe the audio you submit.
• Turbo is not for sensitive or highly confidential audio — use Private mode for that (it never uploads). Please read the Privacy Policy.
• No abuse: don't hammer the queue, bypass Turnstile, or try to overload or attack the service.

Availability and warranty

The service is provided "as is", without warranties. Turbo runs on community hardware and may be offline at times; Private mode will always keep working in your browser even if Turbo is down.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes

We may update these terms; changes take effect when posted on this page.
